| Our Congregation
was founded in France in 1858 by St. Peter Julian Eymard, the Apostle
of the Eucharist, with the collaboration of Mother Marguerite Guillot,
our first Superior General. It was approved by Pope Pius IX in 1871.. |

St.
Peter Juliam had a profound faith in the personal presence of Christ
in Blessed Sacrament. By living out the words of Scripture, "I
live, now not I, but Christ lives in me," (GAL. 2:20), he taught
us to become the true worshipers whom the Father seeks. His chairs
continues to live and to grow in us
(Rule of Life #3)
